Journey of the Goddess Magica

Traces of magical traditions are seen in the remnants of stone age cultures from before recorded history. A picture emerges and is given detail by the earliest writings from the oldest civilizations currently known.

Over every continent where people have lived and died magic has moved and either left traces of its practice or been recorded and passed down through the ages by the keepers of the written word.

From Egypt and Greece, Sumer, Europe and Asia, the Pacific Islands and the Americas we get a common story, colored by culture and given context by the different people participating in its telling and retelling.

There are different methods and names and variations on the structure assigned to the universe but there is more in agreement than there is discord. It all paints the same picture of our place in this reality and our access to fundamental and formative forces and natures.
